      Fathers Day is       approaching
and here is the age old question. What can Mama Mia’s do to celebrate good ole Dad? Here’s what we came up with;
On Father’s Day June 16th every Dad over 21 gets a free beer in one of our Mama Mia’s beer mugs and you get to keep the mug. (While supplies last)  Don’t despair, if you’re a Dad and not 21 yet, we’ll fill a Mama Mia’s mug with soda and you can keep the mug.
Sorry, you must be a Dad and to get a free glass of beer youmust be a Dad over 21.

Mama Mia’s will be taking part in a Second Harvest Food Bank Collection. For each can or box of food you bring in to fill our barrel we’ll give you a dollar off of your bill or we’ll give you a Mama Mia’s buck per donation to use at a later date for in house or to go. But the most important thing about this drive is feeding the hungry in our community. I’ve never experienced real hunger, the kind that makes you weak and nauseous. I’ve heard several organizations say their food banks have been at an all time low. A can or box of food is a small price to pay for a Family to have a decent meal. We will have a food barrel set up in the Restaurant if you want to participate. Please give your donation to your server and we will take a dollar off your bill or give you a Mama Mia’s buck for every can or box. For the possibility of winning a prize you can bring your can of food to:

The drop off days for the title company and participating in their raffle is June 19th and 20th. Mama Mia’s drop off is after you receiver this newsletter until June 21st. I want to thank you now for helping us feed the hungry children in this valley!

The “Action Block”

I’ve decided to add what I call an “Action Block” to my monthly newsletter. Remember how in a previous newsletter I was talking about “New Year Resolutions” and how the hard part is you have to start? All of the self help guru’s I’ve read say start by goal setting. Not only set a goal but “be specific”. I’ve been on a lifelong diet. Hi my name is Traci DiMiceli and I am addicted to food. Working in a super delicious Italian restaurant is like an alcoholic working as a Bartender, I’m constantly trying not to give in to my addiction especially when the Calamari Fritti comes up! According to the experts I need to set my goal to lose weight, state exactly how much and when I want to accomplish it by. Exact dates and times are a must. I plan to start my goal setting on Monday…..Stay tuned.
